These terms govern your use of FirstPassRN. By using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Who can use FirstPassRN
You must be at least 13 years old and able to form a binding agreement to use FirstPassRN.
Free access and the Pro beta
The Free tier is permanent. It is not a trial and there is no limit on how many people use it: it stays available for as long as FirstPassRN runs. What it includes is published on the pricing page.
During the beta we also grant Pro access to early members at no charge. The beta will end, and we may stop offering those grants at any time — after that, Pro is available at the prices published on the pricing page. Features may change, break, or be added while we build, and we may modify or discontinue features at any time.
Pricing and billing
Nothing is charged today. FirstPassRN is a free beta: there is no checkout, and no card is asked for. The clauses below describe how billing will work when it begins, so you can read them before deciding to buy rather than at the moment you are asked to.
They govern pricing and access. Where anything published elsewhere — the pricing page, an email, a search result — differs from this page, this page governs.
Prices can change
We may change our prices at any time, at our discretion. A change takes effect for new purchases and renewals from the date we publish it.
The price you started on is honoured
A billing term you have already entered is honoured at the price agreed when that term began, for the whole of that term. A price change never reaches back into a term you are already paying for.
Checkout shows the real amount
The amount you are charged is the amount shown at checkout. A price displayed anywhere else — this page, the pricing section, an email, a search result — is indicative, and checkout governs if they differ.
Monthly plans renew
A monthly plan renews automatically at the price shown until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next charge; your access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for.
3-month plans do not renew
A 3-month plan is a one-time purchase. Access runs for three calendar months from the day you buy it, and does not renew: it ends when the term does, unless you buy it again, at the prices then in effect.
Cancel it yourself
You can cancel a purchase from your account settings, at any time, without contacting anyone and without giving a reason.
Receipts
We email a receipt for every charge, to the address on the account.
If we publish a price in error
If a price is listed in error we correct it before charging you. If you have already been charged at a price published in error, you may cancel for a full refund.
Sales tax
Prices shown exclude sales tax. Any tax that applies is calculated and shown at checkout, before you pay.
Thirty days' notice on monthly plans
If we change the price of a monthly plan, we give you at least thirty days' notice by email first. The new price does not apply to a period you have already paid for.
Changing tier
If you change tier part-way through a term, the current term ends and a new one begins at the new tier's price. We do not prorate the part of the term you had already paid for.
Your account
You're responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
Our content and your license
All questions, rationales, case studies, and other materials in FirstPassRN are original and owned by us. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use them for your own exam preparation. You may not copy, scrape, redistribute, resell, or use our content to train other models or build a competing product.
How our content is produced
Our questions, rationales, and case studies are generated with AI and then put through an automated review pipeline: a structural check on every answer key, and a clinical accuracy audit that fact-checks each item against current practice guidelines from named sources — such as the ADA, ACC/AHA, USPSTF, CDC/ACIP, IDSA, KDIGO, GOLD, the Beers criteria, ACOG and the AAP — recording the source consulted for each item. Items that fail that audit are flagged and withheld from serving. Study guides and responses from Flo, our AI tutor, are generated in real time on request.
AI can make mistakes, and an automated audit is not the same as independent review by a licensed clinician. Please verify safety-critical clinical details — doses, thresholds, and protocols — against your course materials and your institution's policies before relying on them. FirstPassRN is an independent study tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN). “NCLEX” and “NCLEX-RN” are registered trademarks of the NCSBN, used here only to describe the exam our materials help you prepare for. Our content is never reproduced from real exam items. Always confirm official exam details on the NCSBN's website.
No guarantee of results; not medical advice
FirstPassRN is a preparation tool. We can't and don't guarantee that you'll pass the NCLEX — your result depends on many factors. Any “First-Pass Promise” or similar offer, where available, is a loyalty benefit with its own terms and is not a guarantee of passing or a money-back guarantee. Our content is for educational purposes and is not medical advice or a substitute for clinical judgment.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break, overload, or reverse-engineer it; no scraping or automated extraction of content; no uploading of unlawful, harmful, or other people's private information. In community features, be respectful — we may remove content or accounts that violate these terms.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, FirstPassRN will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
